Company Profile

The Sherborne Rubber Company Ltd was formed in 1937, originally making parts for the war effort in Sherborne Street, Birmingham. After the war, large volumes of rubber mouldings were supplied to the Lucas group of companies, before moving on to become a main supplier to the Ford motor company.

Due to the development of the Broad Street area, The Sherborne Rubber Company Ltd were forced to move in 2001 to Icknield Square in Ladywood, Birmingham, and remained there until their relocation to the Crown Works site in Perry Barr in 2007, where the company is still based and continues to operate.
